Visited yesterday and stayed over an hour! This shop has everything - from new beautiful and traditional fabrics and alabaster goods to vintage signs, maps and postcards. We sat and discussed the meaning of life with the shop owner, played guitar and drank complimentary traditional hibiscus drink. Perfect.

Beautiful little shop with all variety of artisan crafts and vintage souvenirs. Every item has a story and owner Khaled has a passion for sharing them if it’s in your interest. Without realising we spent like an hour browsing and chatting. We were offered complimentary tea and even jammed on his shop instruments. The prices are fair and hassle free which makes this a very special shop in Egypt. We were very happy with our purchases and the fun time spent.

After a couple weeks of being pushed to purchase things by street vendors, it was a relief to enter Shop Sandouk and not be hassled to buy things and not have to negotiate for a final price. We bought a bunch of nice souvenirs here and were treated with a friendly yet hands-off approach. Great selection and fair prices.
